Tibetan Sacred Mandalas Collection

"Kālacakra"

A Mandala (Sanskrit: मण्डल) is a geometric configuration of symbols. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and adepts, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation and trance induction. In the Eastern religions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Shintoism it is used as a map representing deities.   A mandala generally represents the spiritual journey, starting from outside to the inner core, through layers.

These particular Mandalas are hand painted following ancient traditions by Tibetan Monks of Norbulingka Institute, using natural pigments coming from precious stones, minerals and metals.

Tibetan singing bowls are known for their mysterious yet therapeutic acoustic phenomenon, their sounds create a balancing left/right brain synchronization, and promote cascading stress reduction effects in the body such as a deepening of the breath and lowering of pulse rate. The effects of singing bowls create a deep state of relaxation and have been used to support meditation for thousands of years.
